Hello Following JeanDeSponde's lacanic post I have checked up to try and see what Lacan was referring to. The word appears in his seminar of 17.3.71 (Le séminaire, Vol XVIII) on "Lituraterre" and it only seems to refer to those (westerners) ignorant of Chinese calligraphy."Produire la rature définitive, c'est cela l'exploit de la calligraphie. .
